The all-inclusive fee (including airfare) for each participant is $2,500. This fee reflects less than 50% of the actual cost of the trip, which Federation is pleased to subsidize thanks to the generosity of our donors and partners.

Families with greater financial need may apply for additional need-based scholarship AFTER completing the IsraelNow application by contacting the Federation office at IsraelNowCharlotte@jewishcharlotte.org. 

The IsraelNow Charlotte trip cancellation timeline is as follows:  

Cancellation on or Before September 30, 2024

A family that gives the Jewish Federation of Great Charlotte (JFGC) written notice of cancellation on or before September 30, 2024, and completes the IsraelNow withdrawal form will be eligible for a full refund.

Cancellation between October 1- October 31, 2024

A family that gives JFGC written notice of cancellation between October 1- October 31, 2024, and completes the IsraelNow withdrawal form, will be eligible for a refund of all money paid to JFGC excluding the $500 deposit.

Cancellation after October 31, 2024

No refunds will be granted after October 31, 2024. A family must still complete and submit the JFGC withdrawal form to formally withdraw from the program.

Parents may use our letter to help explain the IsraelNow program and educational experience that can be shared with schools and teachers.

As you start high school, we want to help you stay connected! We will offer various post-trip get-together and opportunities for participants to engage in the Jewish community. Make sure to check out the Community Calendar regularly, to stay up to date on great programs happening throughout the year.

Charges will be made based on the following payment schedule, unless other arrangements have been made directly with JFGC.

September 2, 2024 – Initial Deposit of $500.

October 1, 2024 – $1,000

November 1, 2024 – Remaining Balance of $1,000
